Nice post.
I was living in Cusco some years ago. Of course i met many people from all over the world (mostly tourists) some stayed for some time and others were living there. I was really impressed by the big number of foreigners interested in volunteering in the poorest zones of the city. Being a peruvian, it really nice to meet people that have such a social conscience and came from sooo far for helping in some way the more needed.
